Best known as the founder-frontman of indie rock group, Bright Eyes, Conor Oberst began his musical career early on, releasing his first self-recorded debut album via cassette tape. In 2008, Rolling Stone magazine hailed Oberst as the year's best songwriter; that same year, he released two solo studio albums, Conor Oberst and Gentleman's Pact. Oberst has also collaborated with countless other bands, including Desaparecidos, Norman Bailer, Commander Venus, Park Ave., and Monsters of Folk.
