Giselle

Friday, Oct 19, 2012 7:30p

Choreographed by French legend Marius Pepita and composed by Adolphe Adam, Giselle narrates the tale of a peasant girl whose premature death, coupled with her unconditional passion for a prince, evoke the timeless promise and tragic nature of fleeting love. Presented by the Pennsylvania Ballet, this two-act production stands among the greatest of the classical ballet canon, derived from the late 19th and early 20th century productions by the Imperial Russian Ballet.
