Ms. Fink's own personal elegance colors her approach to performance. She is… Show more a musician of an older and more dignified school, valuing refinement, subtlety, and sensibility over fireworks. This was all quite apparent in her magnificent debut recital with PCMS in 2009. Back by popular demand she presents a program of works rarely sung with the Society. Of particular note are the Biblical Songs by Dvorak. These short pieces feature music which is primarily Czech in the sincere and uncomplicated manner in which it expresses the various moods invoked by the Psalms themselves. Each individual song is invested with the wisdom of the scriptures and with the inner strength of an uncomplicated and truly great man.
